  • What does an initial evaluation for my baby include?

The goal of your baby’s first appointment is to evaluate feeding and development, identify therapy goals, and create a unique plan tailored to your baby’s individual needs. Initial evaluations include a full feeding assessment (breast or bottle), an oral structure and function examination, reflex testing (if applicable), and a developmental therapy evaluation. A plan of care and recommendations will be given based on evaluation findings.

Please have your pediatrician or OB/GYN fax a referral to (855) 952-5866 or email it to info@pediatrictherapylactation.com.

  • I don't live in Conway. Can I still book an appointment?

Hands-on assessments allow therapists to evaluate an infant's movements, muscle tone, and overall physical capabilities, which is essential for creating tailored intervention plans. Additionally, in-person visits enable therapists to guide mothers in proper positioning during breastfeeding and other activities, enhancing both comfort and effectiveness. Therefore, we do not offer virtual therapy services.
