Initial infant evaluation
Initial infant evaluations typically take 90-120 minutes and include the following:
Review of maternal & infant history, including identifying concerns such as reflux, shallow latch, or breastfeeding pain.
Collaborative goal setting to identify your specific feeding goals.
Comprehensive assessment of oral motor function, sensory regulation, musculoskeletal concerns, head turn preference, head shape, and developmental milestones.
Feeding evaluation
Development of an individualized lactation and OT treatment plan to help you and your baby meet your feeding goals.
Development of a therapy program specific to your baby’s needs.
Pediatrician report and superbill available upon request.
